It gives teams the fastest, most affordable way to deploy experiments or manufacture in orbit, with a turnkey workflow from launch to landing. Innovators in biotech, materials science, edge computing, and more can access microgravity, run missions, and bring results safely back to Earth.

Brand Identity
For Catalyx, we crafted a brand identity that reflects the precision and ambition of a company building the infrastructure layer of space. The pairing of Geist and Geist Mono creates a modern, utilitarian tone—clean, technical, and confident. A high-contrast palette of black, white, and signal yellow, grounded by neutral grays, evokes orbital instrumentation while keeping the interface focused and legible.

Our Approach

We partnered with Catalyx to design and develop a bold, scalable digital presence that reflects their role as the AWS for space. The site needed to communicate credibility, technical rigor, and commercial readiness while staying lightweight and modular in Webflow.

Key steps included:

  • Clarified the Brand: Defined a clear brand architecture around autonomous labs and re-entry capsules, aligning product story, use cases, and messaging.
  • Crafted a Precision UI: Designed a sleek, minimal UI system with clear hierarchy and interface patterns that feel technical but approachable.
  • Modular by Design: Built a library of reusable content blocks so the team can ship new pages as offerings and milestones evolve.
  • Motion with Meaning: Applied restrained motion to suggest orbital movement and system states—always purposeful, never distracting.
  • Webflow Execution: Developed the full site in Webflow with fast performance, responsive layouts, and an easy-to-manage CMS.

Social Media & Promotional Graphics
To extend the reach and impact of the Miami Buildathon, our team also designed a suite of engaging social media & announcement graphics. These visuals were crafted to resonate with the event's energetic and innovative vibe, using the established brand fonts and color palette for consistency.
The graphics included promotional posts, event countdowns, participant spotlights, and highlights of key activities. Each design was optimized for various platforms, ensuring clarity and engagement whether viewed on mobile or desktop. This cohesive and visually striking online presence helped amplify the Buildathon's message, attract participants, and build a vibrant online community around the event.
Printable Designs and Assets
In addition to digital media, we created a range of printable designs and assets to enhance the physical presence of the Miami Buildathon. These included banners, posters, flyers, event badges, and other collateral, all meticulously designed to maintain brand consistency and visual appeal.
Our team ensured that each printed material was not only visually engaging but also functional and informative, guiding participants and creating a cohesive event experience. The use of the vibrant color palette and modern fonts ensured that all printed assets stood out, reinforcing the dynamic and innovative spirit of the Buildathon in every physical touchpoint.
